Lying Reading Boy

A playful and expressive sculpture of a boy lying comfortably on his back while holding a book above him. The relaxed pose, bent legs and natural position of the arms give the sculpture plenty of movement and character. The face, hands and bare feet are finely detailed, while the clothing has a darker finish. The contrast between the warm bronze-coloured skin and dark clothing highlights the different shapes and details.
